Netracells and Archimedea: weekly endgame loot
Netracells, Deep Archimedea and Temporal Archimedea are the hardest weekly missions. They reward Archon Shards, Legendary Arcanes and more. Here is how to unlock them and spend your Search Pulses wisely.

01What is it about?
After the quest “Whispers in the Walls”, new endgame awaits in the Sanctum Anatomica on Deimos. In Netracells you break open Albrecht Entrati’s secret vaults. In Deep Archimedea you play three hard missions in a row against the Murmur. Temporal Archimedea works the same way, but in Höllvania. All three share one weekly limit.
The key terms in short:
- Netracell
- A locked vault in Albrecht’s Laboratories. You find it, defend it and open it for the loot.
- Archimedea
- Three missions in a row with no breaks and no loadout changes, similar to Sorties but much harder.
- Search Pulse
- The weekly resource for these modes. You get 5 every Monday, and leftovers expire.
- Keyglyph
- A key for the Netracell. Whoever carries it suffers a drawback until the vault is open.
- Research Points
- Points you earn in Archimedea for optional challenges. More points unlock better rewards.
- Murmur
- The enemy faction in Albrecht’s Laboratories and in Netracells.
- Cavia
- The Syndicate in the Sanctum Anatomica. You earn standing with them to access Deep Archimedea.
02How to unlock everything
- 01
Finish “Whispers in the Walls”
The quest opens Albrecht’s Laboratories and the Sanctum Anatomica on Deimos.
- 02
Start Netracells at Tagfer
Talk to Tagfer in the Sanctum Anatomica to start Netracells.
- 03
Reach rank 5 with the Cavia
Earn Cavia standing, for example with bounties and Netracells. Every cleared Netracell gives 5,000 standing.
- 04
Open Deep Archimedea at Loid
With rank 5 and at least one Netracell cleared, you unlock Deep Archimedea at Loid in the Sanctum Anatomica.
- 05
Temporal Archimedea at Kaya
After the quest “The Hex” and with rank 5 in The Hex Syndicate, you start Temporal Archimedea at Kaya in the Höllvania Central Mall.
03Spending Search Pulses wisely
Every Monday at 00:00 UTC you get 5 Search Pulses. Unused ones expire. All three modes draw from the same pool:
| Mode | Cost | When is it paid? |
|---|---|---|
| Netracell | 1 | On a successful clear, for the loot |
| Deep Archimedea | 2 | To unlock it, then it stays open all week |
| Temporal Archimedea | 2 | To unlock it, then it stays open all week |
04How a Netracell works
- 01
Pick up the Keyglyphs
You start in the Anchorhold and have to take all four Keyglyphs, or the gate will not open. One player can carry all four. Each one comes with a drawback.
- 02
Find the vault
Three terminals help you narrow down the search area. The Netracell is always at the far end of the map, near the third terminal.
- 03
Lower the security level
Insert the matching Keyglyph and stay inside the marked zone. Every kill you make there lowers the security level. A Necramite drone shows up along the way and has to be destroyed.
- 04
Open the vault
At 0%, all nearby enemies die, the Keyglyph drawbacks end and you open the cell.
The main cache always gives an
Entrati Lanthorn plus one of these: an Archon Shard in Crimson, Amber or Azure (sometimes Tauforged), a Legendary melee Arcane such as
Melee Crescendo or
Melee Duplicate, or a Melee Arcane Adapter. You only see which one after the mission.
05The harsh rules
Netracells and both Archimedea modes share strict base rules:
- Enemies have 100% more health and shields, plus 50% per squad member, up to 300%. Eximus enemies appear more often.
- There is no self-revive. Only teammates can pick you up from bleedout, and the bleedout timer gets shorter with each revive, down to 5 seconds.
- Team consumables such as Energy Restores have a 3 minute cooldown.
- In Netracells, Specters and other summoned helpers are not allowed. Whoever dies for good there cannot be brought back.
- In Archimedea, a Void Angel bearing your glyph appears 30 seconds after you die. If your squad defeats it, you come back. Every further Angel is stronger.
- If you stay dead for more than 3 minutes in Archimedea, you get a strike. After three strikes you earn no further rewards in that run.
06Deep and Temporal Archimedea
| Deep Archimedea | Temporal Archimedea | |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Albrecht’s Laboratories (Deimos) | Höllvania |
| Enemies | Murmur | Scaldra and Techrot |
| Enemy level | 250–275 (Elite 375–400) | 350–375 (Elite 475–500) |
| Start at | Loid | Kaya |
| Standing at the end | 15,000 Cavia | 15,000 The Hex |
Every week brings new missions with their own challenges. Deviations change the mission itself, Risk Variables make enemies and weapons more dangerous. Read them carefully before you start.
- Clearing all three missions gives 3 Research Points.
- Each mission gives 1 point for every item from the weekly loadout list you bring (Warframe, primary, secondary and melee). Matching gear also gets a bonus.
- Each mission also gives 1 point for each of the four Personal Modifiers you turn on, such as reduced ability range or no companions.
- More points unlock better reward tiers. Each tier is only paid once per week, and points from separate attempts do not add up.
- Reaching 25 points in one run permanently unlocks Elite Archimedea: higher enemy levels, an extra Risk Variable and 10 bonus points for the best reward tiers.
Deep Archimedea gives Archon Shards in the three base colors, Legendary melee Arcanes,
Entrati Lanthorn and Vosfor. Temporal Archimedea can give all six colors, Tauforged too, plus Arcanes such as
Arcane Escapist,
Arcane Hot Shot and
Arcane Universal Fallout, Pix Chips, Elemental Vice and Omni Forma.
07Tips
- The Murmur are weak to Electricity and Radiation and resist Viral.
- Play with a full squad. A healer like
Trinity or
Oberon and a tanky Warframe like
Rhino or
Gara help a lot. - Overguard is worth its weight in gold. Warframes like
Frost,
Styanax or
Dante use it to protect themselves and the squad. - Armor-stripping abilities, like those of
Nyx or
Xaku, make the high levels playable. - In Netracells,
Nova can speed up enemies with Molecular Prime so they run into the kill zone faster. - Use survival mods such as
Adaptation and
Rolling Guard.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to unused Search Pulses?
They expire at the Monday reset. You always have exactly 5 per week, no matter how many were left over.
Do I have to unlock Archimedea every time?
Once a week. After that you can play it as often as you like until the next reset, but each reward tier is only paid once.
Can I change my loadout between Archimedea missions?
No. You play all three missions with the same loadout, so plan your build for all three mission types.
I just finished the quest. Where do I start?
With Netracells. They are the easiest of the three and give you Cavia standing. Join a squad and spend your Search Pulses on Netracells each week until you are ready for Archimedea.
