Seer is Captain Vor's specialised pistol of Grineer design using Orokin technology. It has higher than average zoom, high and balanced physical damage and a very fast projectile, making it potent at long range, though crit stats are poor and the reload is slow.
The explosion on impact is purely graphical with no area effect. It's a good fit if you like deliberate long-range sidearm play. The main blueprint and components come from defeating Captain Vor on Tolstoj, Mercury.
Seer was added with Update 9.0 (July 2013).
