Strun Prime is a direct upgrade of the Strun. It gains innate punch through and a much longer damage falloff range, and its damage is a mix of Impact and Slash. The cost is a slower reload, since shells go in one by one at 0.4 seconds each.
You can interrupt the reload at any time, which helps in planned fights. It was released with Nidus Prime and Magnus Prime. Its blueprint and parts drop from Void Relics that are vaulted, so Prime Resurgence or the trade chat is the way to pick them up.
Strun Prime was added with Update 30.7 (September 2021).

Strun Prime is built from parts that drop from Void Relics, all vaulted at the moment. Pick them up through Prime Resurgence with Varzia or by trading. The parts of Strun Prime drop from these Void Relics: Axi I2, Axi K10, Axi N12, Axi N8, Axi P4, Axi T8, Lith B10, Lith G5 ….
Strun Prime costs 15,000 credits in total and takes 12 hr in the Foundry with the parts built in parallel. Resources: 10 Orokin Cell.
