Mk1-Braton is the rifle new Tenno recruits receive. Damage is modest, but accuracy, stability and a 60-round magazine with very high ammo pickup make it easy to handle.
It can be bought fully built from the Market for 15,000 Credits, and sold for 2,500. Veterans usually switch to the regular Braton after reaching Mercury and rank 30.
Mk1-Braton was added with Vanilla (October 2012).
