Technocyte Coda: the Techrot nemesis of Höllvania
The Technocyte Coda are infested clones of the boy band On-lyne and your nemesis in Höllvania. Instead of a Requiem sequence you only need to find one matching Antivirus mod. With the loot you then buy Coda weapons.

01What is it about?
The Technocyte Coda are the Techrot counterpart to Kuva Liches and Sisters of Parvos. They look like twisted copies of the five members of On-lyne. The system is simpler than the others: you only need to find one matching mod, and there is no tax and no ranking up. Your reward is Live Heartcells, which buy powerful Coda weapons.

- The 1999 city you get to know in the quest “The Hex”. Your Coda lives here.
- Mixtape
- An item dropped by Techrot enemies. Hack it and your Coda is born.
- Duet
- Two Coda showing up together in a mission. They are the only ones you test your mods on.
- Antivirus mods
- Eight Parazon mods. Exactly one of them works against your Coda.
- Potency mods
- Five Parazon mods that raise the progress per hit. They only work together with the correct Antivirus mod.
- Malware Disinfection
- Your Coda’s progress bar. At 100% it flees to the finale.
- Live Heartcell
- The reward for a defeated Coda. You use it to buy Coda weapons.
02How to create your Coda

Finish “The Hex”
The quest unlocks the Coda system. You also need Mastery Rank 5 and must not have another nemesis.

Play a fitting Höllvania mission
In Exterminate, Hell-Scrub and Legacyte Harvest missions (bounty versions too), Techrot enemies can drop a Mixtape.

Pick up the Mixtape and hack it
A successful hack can give you a Potency mod. If it fails, Techrot enemies spawn. Your Coda is created either way.

Return to base
After the mission your new Coda contacts you. Its profile is at the Navigation console, in the main menu or on the Pom-2.
03Antivirus and Potency mods
Antivirus mods: there are eight. You get them from special Antivirus bounties in Höllvania.
Potency mods: there are five. They drop from Techrot enemies and after a successful Mixtape hack.
- Each mod has 3 charges. The correct Antivirus mod loses one when the Coda flees to the finale. Potency mods lose one per successful hit.
- Empty mods can be sold, dissolved into Endo or transmuted: four mods give one new full mod of the same type.
- Antivirus and Potency mods are tradeable.
04How Disinfection works
Your Coda controls a few nodes in Höllvania. When you play there, a Duet of two Coda can appear. The chance is 25% and rises by another 25% for every mission without one, so they show up by the fourth mission at the latest.

Equip three Antivirus mods
Put three different Antivirus mods into your Parazon. That way you test three at once.

Beat the Duet
Knock both Coda down and finish one of them with the Parazon. If the correct mod was equipped, Disinfection goes up right away.

Swap the wrong mods
If none was right, try three others. After three Duets at most you know the correct mod.

Add Potency mods
Once you know the correct Antivirus mod, fill the two free slots with Potency mods. Each adds 10 or 15%.

05The finale: a stadium concert
At 100% your Coda flees to Earth Proxima. You fly there with your Railjack to the new Höllvania stadium and fight the whole band in a multi-phase boss battle. Then you decide:

06Coda weapons
Coda weapons do not drop from the nemesis directly. You buy them from Eleanor in the Höllvania Central Mall for 10 Live Heartcells each. There are 14 of them, some are upgraded Infested weapons, others are brand new.
- All Coda weapons need Mastery Rank 17. Unlike Lich and Sister weapons, this limit applies when you buy them.
- Eleanor offers the weapons in two alternating groups. Element and bonus (25 to 60%) are random and change every 4 days. You can buy each weapon once per rotation.
- Like Kuva and Tenet weapons, they go up to rank 40 with
Forma and can reach a 60% bonus through Valence Fusion.

Frequently asked questions
I am new. Is the Coda a good first nemesis?
Yes, it is the easiest of the three. Failed attempts don’t punish you, and you only need to find one mod. You do need the quest “The Hex”, and Mastery Rank 17 for the weapons later.
Do I need all eight Antivirus mods?
No, but the more you have, the faster you find the right one. With three mods per attempt, three Duets are enough at most. You can also trade for missing mods.
What does the cyst on my Warframe do?
Nothing. It is purely visual and disappears once you defeat your Coda. The Helminth cannot remove it.
Can I buy Coda weapons without my own Coda?
No. You need Live Heartcells, and those only come from Coda. So defeat your Coda first and then buy the weapon from Eleanor.
