01What is it about?
Many old weapons like Braton, Lato or Skana are too weak for hard content on their own. An Incarnon Genesis adapter changes that: the weapon gets an Incarnon Form with a new attack and several upgrades to choose from. There are also weapons that are Incarnon from the start, such as the Zariman weapons.
The key terms in short:
- Incarnon Form
- The transformed form of the weapon. You charge it in combat and then switch. It is usually much stronger than the normal mode.
- Incarnon Genesis
- An adapter for one specific weapon. It turns a normal weapon into an Incarnon weapon.
- Evolution
- An upgrade tier of the weapon. You unlock it with small challenges and pick one bonus per tier.
- The Circuit
- An endless mode in Duviri with one mission after another. On the Steel Path it gives the Genesis adapters.
- Pathos Clamp
- A Duviri resource. You need it to install an adapter.
- Cavalero
- The Holdfasts’ arms dealer in the Zariman’s Chrysalith. He installs the adapters.
02How to get Genesis adapters
- 01
Finish the quests
“The Duviri Paradox” opens the Circuit. “Angels of the Zariman” takes you to Cavalero, who installs the adapters.
- 02
Unlock the Steel Path
Only the Circuit on the How to unlock and master the Steel Path gives Genesis adapters. The normal Circuit gives Warframe blueprints instead.
- 03
Play the Steel Path Circuit
Start the Circuit in Duviri with the Steel Path enabled. Every stage you clear adds progress to the reward track.
- 04
Pick your adapters
Every week 5 adapters are on offer. At tier 5 and tier 10 of the reward track you take one of them each.
03The Steel Path Circuit
In the Circuit you play random missions back to back: Defense, Survival, Excavation, Exterminate, Void Flood, Alchemy and, from stage 5, a fight against a corrupted Jackal. You choose your Warframe and weapons from a random selection.
| Reward | Progress needed | About this many stages |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 5: first adapter | 1,785 | 12 |
| Tier 10: second adapter | 5,460 | 34 |
- Progress per cleared stage: 100, 110, 125, 145, then 170 each from the fifth stage on. The fourth stage gives 50 extra once a day.
- Rewards reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Each tier of the track can be claimed once a week.
- Between the adapters there are more rewards, for example Arcanes, veiled Rivens and 25 Steel Essence at tier 9.
- With your Drifter’s Opportunity intrinsics at rank 9, you can pick a Riven or 20,000 Kuva instead of an adapter.
04Weekly rotation
The adapters rotate in a fixed nine-week cycle. After week I it starts again at A. You can see which week is active on the Circuit reward track in the game.
| Week | Adapters on offer |
|---|---|
| A | Braton, Lato, Skana, Paris, Kunai |
| B | Boar, Gammacor, Angstrum, Gorgon, Anku |
| C | Bo, Latron, Furis, Furax, Strun |
| D | Lex, Magistar, Boltor, Bronco, Ceramic Dagger |
| E | Torid, Dual Toxocyst, Dual Ichor, Miter, Atomos |
| F | Ack & Brunt, Soma, Vasto, Nami Solo, Burston |
| G | Zylok, Sibear, Dread, Despair, Hate |
| H | Dera, Sybaris, Cestra, Sicarus, Okina |
| I | Vectis, Stug, Ballistica, Destreza, Obex |
05Installing at Cavalero
- 01
Get the weapon
You need both the adapter and the matching weapon. Without the weapon, Cavalero installs nothing.
- 02
Gather resources
Every install costs 20
Pathos Kıskacı plus other Duviri resources. For the Braton, for example, it is 60 Rune Marrow and 60 Tasoma Extract. - 03
Visit Cavalero
You find him in the middle of the Chrysalith on the Zariman. Talk to him and pick the weapon.
- Pathos Clamps drop after defeating the Orowyrm at the end of a Duviri cycle (10, or 15 on the Steel Path).
- The boss fight in Isleweaver missions also gives 10 Pathos Clamps, 15 on the Steel Path.
- The side portals into the Undercroft during the Duviri Experience give 1 each, 3 on the Steel Path.
- Resource boosters do not affect Pathos Clamps.
06Evolutions and Incarnon Form
Genesis weapons have 4 evolutions. You unlock each with a small challenge and then pick one of two or three bonuses. You can change your pick any time later in the Arsenal or at Cavalero.
| Evolution | Challenge (Genesis weapons) |
|---|---|
| I | Unlocked by installing the adapter. Grants the Incarnon Form. |
| II | Complete a solo mission with the weapon. |
| III | Primary and secondary: 100 kills in Incarnon Form. Melee: activate Incarnon Form 6 times in one mission. |
| IV | Different for each weapon. |
- Guns mostly charge their Incarnon Form with weak point hits. Alternate fire switches into the form. Angstrum and Torid charge with direct hits instead.
- Melee weapons need a 6x combo counter. A heavy attack then activates the form, which lasts 180 seconds.
- Challenges count for the whole weapon family. Once you finish them on the Braton, they are done for Braton Prime too.
- Every completed challenge also gives the weapon 5,000 affinity.
07Weapons that are already Incarnon
Some weapons need no adapter. They even have 5 evolutions. The fifth asks for a solo mission with an Incarnon weapon in every weapon slot.
| Origin | Weapons | How to get them |
|---|---|---|
| Zariman | Felarx, Innodem, Laetum, Phenmor, Praedos | Blueprints from Cavalero for Holdfasts standing, from Mastery Rank 14. Quest “Angels of the Zariman”. |
| Sanctum Anatomica | Onos, Ruvox | Rewards in Armatus (Deimos) or from Loid for Vessel Capillaries. Quests “Whispers in the Walls” and “The Deadlock Protocol”. |
| Isleweaver (Duviri) | Thalys | Blueprint for Scuttler Husks from Acrithis or Dominus Thrax. Quest “The Hex”. |
Frequently asked questions
Is Incarnon worth it for newer players?
Yes, as soon as you have the quests and the Steel Path done. An Incarnon Braton or Lato is enough for many hard missions. Before that, you can already get the Zariman weapons like the Laetum.
Which adapter should I take first?
Ideally one for a weapon you already own and like to play. A week only comes back after 9 weeks, so choose with care.
Do I have to clear all stages in one run?
No. Progress adds up over the week and is kept after every cleared stage, even if the run fails later. The stage counts in the table only apply if you play it all in one go.
Can I trade adapters?
No. Incarnon Genesis adapters cannot be traded. Only the Zariman weapon blueprints are tradeable.
