About Tysis
Tysis is an Infested sidearm that fires Corrosive darts. Its damage over time is backed by an incredibly high status chance that wears down even heavy armor, but crit stats are low. On a kill, the body follows the dart and is pinned to the wall.
The Corrosive damage ticks three times over two seconds, so a single dart can proc several statuses in a row. Combine it with mods that raise status chance. The blueprint is a regular Market purchase in Credits.
Tysis was added with Update 11.7 (January 2014).
