About Pyrana
Pyrana is an automatic Tenno shotgun sidearm. Its fast fire rate and high Slash damage can decimate groups of lightly armored targets and the Infested, balanced by high recoil and damage falloff. It fires twelve pellets, the second highest pellet count of all secondary shotguns.
It is more ammo efficient than other full-auto secondaries like the Viper, and Pistol Ammo Mutation, Pistol Scavenger or Squad Ammo Restore help with supply. The weapon sells for 5,000 Credits. The blueprint is researched in the Tenno Lab of a clan dojo.
Pyrana was added with Update 13.6 (June 2014).
