Catabolyst is an Infested pistol that fires a short-range beam of Corrosive bile, with linear damage falloff between 9 and 19 meters. When reloading, the clip is thrown like a grenade, and the potency is greatly increased if you reload from an empty clip.
It will not reload automatically on an empty magazine, so you can keep the grenade ready and trigger the reload yourself. The blueprint is researched in the Bio Lab of a clan dojo, so your clan must have built that lab first.
