About Athodai
Athodai is a Tenno hand-cannon that shoots long-ranged laser beams and mostly deals Heat damage. Its alternate fire dumps the whole magazine as a short-range cone burst. Weak point kills with the primary fire trigger Overdrive, which doubles fire rate, removes recoil and uses no ammo.
Overdrive disables the alt-fire while it lasts. The weapon was first given for watching TennoCon 2020 and later distributed to all logged-in players. Today the blueprint and components are found in Abandoned Derelict Caches at Venus Proxima in Empyrean missions and are tradable.
Athodai was added with Hotfix 28.2.1 (August 2020).
