Aklato is the dual-wield version of the Lato. It has a higher fire rate and magazine size but lower accuracy and a slower reload, deals mostly Slash damage and has low recoil. It is one of the original starter sidearm upgrades from the earliest days of the game.
A finished Aklato costs 25,000 Credits in the Market, with no research needed. It can be sold for 5,000 Credits. Many players use it as a cheap sidearm for mastery or as an ingredient on the way to bigger secondary weapons.
Aklato was added with Vanilla (October 2012).
Requires Mastery Rank 3.
