Thornbak is a burst-fire rifle that fires four rounds in quick succession and boasts an incredible status chance. Its damage is split evenly between the physical types, and it has very high ammo pickup and a quick reload.
The rifle is a reward for the quest The Teacher, delivered with a free weapon slot and a pre-installed Orokin Catalyst. If you want more copies, Cephalon Simaris sells them for 100,000 Standing each. It is a strong pick for status-focused builds.
Thornbak was added with Update 40.0 (October 2025).
