Soma Prime is the Prime variant of the Soma assault rifle. It adds magazine size, ammo reserves, a faster spool-up that needs only four shots, and a little more status chance. Damage stays mainly Slash, and it can use Soma Prime-specific mods.
It released with Nova Prime and Vasto Prime. A crit build with Point Strike, Argon Scope and Vital Sense is a common route. The blueprint and parts sit in vaulted Void Relics, so Prime Resurgence or trading is how to obtain them today.
Soma Prime was added with Update 15.7 (December 2014).
Requires Mastery Rank 7.
Soma Prime is currently in the Prime Vault.
