Dread fires bladed arrows with lots of Slash damage, a 50% critical chance and high status chance. It has a hidden mechanic where two consecutive hits within 5 seconds make later shots deal double damage.
The blueprint drops from The Stalker and his Protector and Shadow variants at a decent chance per kill, and it is also part of the What Stalker? bundle in the Market. Pair it with Unseen Dread for stealth builds.
Dread was added with Update 8.0 (May 2013).
