Wildfire

Wildfire is a rare primary mod for rifles from Update 9.0 that increases magazine capacity and adds Heat damage, up to +20% and +60% at rank 3. Fractional magazine values are rounded to the nearest whole number, so the benefit depends on the weapon's base capacity.

It drops from the enemies listed on this page and cannot be transmuted. Use it when you want Heat for a combined element such as Blast or Radiation on a rifle and also appreciate a slightly larger magazine. It costs only a few capacity points, which makes it easy to fit into most builds.

Wildfire was added with Update 9.0 (July 2013).
