Heat+15% Status ChanceHeat+30% Status ChanceHeat+45% Status ChanceHeat+60% Status ChanceVolcanic Edge is a rare melee mod from Update 13.8 that increases Heat damage and status chance by 15% per rank, +60% each at rank 3. It is additive with similar mods, so a Galatine with Volcanic Edge and Melee Prowess gains a large status chance bonus.
It can drop as a random end-of-mission reward from Tier 1 Spy missions with all three data vaults hacked, and Baro Ki'Teer sells it for 300 ducats and 150,000 Credits when it is in stock. It cannot be transmuted. Pair it with Cold or Toxin mods to combine into Blast or Gas on your melee weapon.
