Volatile Variant is a weapon augment mod for the Sporothrix and Coda Sporothrix. Shots gain +3 meters of punch through, barbs explode instantly without an embed delay, and barbs that hit enemies directly get +4 meters of blast radius and +50% status chance. Barbs explode each time they hit an enemy, so one shot can produce several blasts.
The mod is sold in the Nightwave Cred Offerings for 20 creds on a rotational basis. It was originally a rank 25 reward in Nora's Mix Volume 5. It cannot be transmuted. It suits Sporothrix builds that want instant explosions and pierce through enemy lines for repeated area damage.
Volatile Variant was added with Hotfix 34.0.8 (November 2023).
Volatile Variant is tradable, see the current prices in the market box above.
