Vile Discharge is a weapon augment mod for the Embolist, introduced in Hotfix 31.6. It stores damage dealt by the weapon, up to 30,000 at max rank, and Alt-fire launches an explosive vile sac that deals and resets the accumulated damage. Embolist's main attack and its damage-over-time effects charge it.
It was originally a Nightwave reward at rank 23 in Nora's Mix Volume 2, and it is now sold in the Nightwave Cred Offerings for 20 creds. It was also sold for Mother Tokens during the October 2024 Nights of Naberus event. It cannot be transmuted. Use it for Embolist builds that like big burst damage.
Vile Discharge was added with Hotfix 31.6.4 (July 2022).
Vile Discharge is tradable, see the current prices in the market box above.
