Vile Acceleration is a rare Corrupted mod for rifles from Update 15.0. It raises fire rate by 15% per rank, +90% at rank 5, but reduces damage by 2.5% per rank. The fire rate bonus is doubled for bows. It can be combined with Speed Trigger, Spring-Loaded Chamber, Vigilante Fervor and Primed Shred for 330% total.
The mod drops from the enemies listed in the table on this page and cannot be transmuted. The small damage penalty is usually easy to offset with other damage mods, so it is a favorite for fast rifles and bows that want to push fire rate as far as it can go.
Vile Acceleration was added with Update 15.0 (October 2014).
Vile Acceleration is tradable, see the current prices in the market box above.
