Cold+15% Status ChanceCold+30% Status ChanceCold+45% Status ChanceCold+60% Status ChanceVicious Frost is a rare melee mod from Update 14.5 that increases Cold damage and status chance by 15% per rank, +60% each at rank 3. It is additive with similar mods, so a Galatine with Vicious Frost and Melee Prowess gets a big jump in status chance.
It can be acquired as a random end-of-mission reward from a Tier 1 Spy mission with all three data vaults hacked, and also from other sources in the drop table on this page. It cannot be transmuted. Use it for Cold-based melee builds, for example to combine with Heat or Toxin into stronger elements.
Vicious Frost was added with Update 14.5 (August 2014).
