Thermagnetic Shells is a rare Index mod for the Detron, Mara Detron and Tenet Detron, introduced with The Index Preview. Killed enemies explode, dealing a flat amount of Magnetic damage plus a share of their maximum health as Blast, 80 Magnetic and 40% health in a 6 meter radius at max rank.
The mod drops from the enemies listed on this page and cannot be transmuted. The explosion has linear damage falloff from the center and needs line of sight. It works well on Detron builds that clear groups, since each kill can trigger chains of explosions among enemies.
