Strain Fever is a rare set mod for the Helminth Charger's claws. Each active cyst boosts the Charger's damage, +40% per cyst at max rank, so with the maximum of eight cysts and the full set equipped it reaches a +240% bonus.
It was added in Update 24.2 and drops from the enemies shown on this page; it cannot be transmuted. The damage scales with cysts, so it rewards you for letting the cysts grow rather than killing them immediately. Equip it with the rest of the Strain set on a Charger focused on melee.
