Corrosive Damage to any enemy within 2m.Corrosive Damage to any enemy within 4m.Corrosive Damage to any enemy within 6m.Corrosive Damage to any enemy within 8m.Strain Eruption is a precept set mod for the Helminth Charger. Maggots it spawns explode when they die, dealing a percentage of an enemy's current health as Corrosive damage, 4% at max rank within 8 meters, together with a status effect.
The mod drops from the enemies listed on this page and cannot be transmuted. Since it deals a fixed share of current health, its strength does not fall off at higher enemy levels, which makes it handy against tough targets. It works best alongside the other Helminth Charger set mods.
Strain Eruption was added with Update 24.2 (December 2018).
