Spring-Loaded Chamber is an uncommon mod for assault rifles that rewards reloading. After a reload you gain extra fire rate while aiming, +75% at rank 5, for 9 seconds, so a well-timed reload gives you a short burst of speed.
It was added in Hotfix 18.4.1 and drops from the enemies listed on this page; there is no transmutation option. The mod is cheap to equip, with a low capacity cost, and fits assault rifles with quick reloads. Combine it with the other fire rate mods to get the most out of a magazine.
Spring-Loaded Chamber was added with Hotfix 18.4.1 (January 2016).
Spring-Loaded Chamber is tradable, see the current prices in the market box above.
