Sniper Ammo Mutation is a rare Exilus mod for sniper rifles. It converts pickups meant for secondary weapons into primary ammo for the sniper, with a conversion rate of up to 50% at max rank. The conversion only works while the rifle is equipped.
Originally it was awarded for taking part in Operation Sling-Stone, and today it drops in Survival, Excavation and Spy missions. It cannot be transmuted. It is a great Exilus choice for ammo-hungry snipers, as it spares you from relying on separate sniper ammo packs.
Sniper Ammo Mutation was added with Update 9.3 (July 2013).
Sniper Ammo Mutation is tradable, see the current prices in the market box above.
