Shotgun Barrage is an uncommon mod for primary shotguns that speeds up how fast you pull the trigger, reaching +90% fire rate at rank 5. That is the strongest fire rate boost among the shotgun mods, so it shines on rapid-fire models like the Sobek or Strun Wraith. An Amalgam version of the mod also exists.
You can pick it up from the Circuit in Duviri, from various Osprey and Drone enemies, and from the Eidolon Hydrolyst capture, which has the best odds. It can also come out of transmutation. Skip it on weapons with a locked fire rate such as those using Semi-Shotgun Cannonade, because the bonus does nothing there.
Shotgun Barrage was added with Vanilla (October 2012).
Shotgun Barrage is tradable, see the current prices in the market box above.
