Retribution is an Exilus Warframe mod that gives a chance, up to 60% at max rank, to deal Electricity damage to enemies that hit your shields with melee attacks, punishing close-range attackers.
It drops from The Circuit in Duviri and other sources in the table. As an Exilus mod, it is an easy add-on to shield-based frames that face many melee enemies, such as Infested or Grineer rushers.
Retribution was added with Update 7.10 (May 2013).
