Ready Steel is an uncommon Aura mod that raises the Initial Combo for the entire squad, with +24 at max rank. Starting missions with combo already built means your melee multipliers work from the first swing.
It drops from enemies, not mission rewards, as the table on this page lists. Use it in squads with several melee players who rely on the Combo Counter and want to skip the warm-up phase.
Ready Steel was added with Update 35.0 (December 2023).
