Proton Snap is a melee mod from the Proton set. After you hold a Wall Latch for 2 seconds it gives +100% Toxin damage at max rank, and it also adds Status Chance to your melee weapon.
It drops from Jupiter Disruption and further sources in the table. It rewards builds that latch to a wall to charge up before swinging, and it works best when combined with Proton Jet and Proton Pulse.
Proton Snap was added with Update 25.0 (May 2019).
