Pathogen Rounds increases the Toxin damage of pistols by 15% per rank, reaching +90% at rank 5. Toxin bypasses shields, so it is a strong base elemental for pistol builds against Corpus.
It drops from Hive Sabotage resource caches on Naeglar, Eris, which the wiki recommends for farming, and from the Duviri Circuit. Finding all the caches improves your chances, and transmutation can also create it.
