About Heated Charge
Heated Charge is a pistol mod that raises Heat damage by 15% per rank, up to +90% at rank 5. Heat is particularly effective against Infested, who tend to rush in large numbers.
An unranked copy is given when you complete The Teacher quest, and further copies drop from Dark Sector Defense missions. Transmutation also works, and it is a cheap way to add elemental damage to a secondary weapon.
Heated Charge was added with Vanilla (October 2012).
Heated Charge is tradable, see the current prices in the market box above.
