Cold+15% Status ChanceCold+30% Status ChanceCold+45% Status ChanceCold+60% Status ChanceFrigid Blast increases both the Cold damage and the status chance of a shotgun by 15% per rank, up to 60% at rank 3. It is a dual-stat elemental mod and works well for slowing and freezing enemies.
It is a random end-of-mission reward for a successful Spy mission with all three Data Vaults hacked, with drop spots such as Rosalind on Uranus and Kelpie on Sedna. It stacks with Chilling Grasp and Chilling Reload for a large Cold bonus.
Frigid Blast was added with Update 14.5 (August 2014).
