Focused Defense is an Exilus mod for melee weapons that widens the blocking angle. At max rank it adds +20 to the parry angle, so you intercept more incoming shots while blocking.
It drops randomly from Necralisk bounties on the Cambion Drift and from other sources in the official tables. Since it sits in the Exilus slot, it is a free addition for block-focused melee builds that guard against gunfire.
Focused Defense was added with Hotfix 18.4.1 (January 2016).
