Flechette

Flechette increases the Puncture damage of shotguns by up to 90% at max rank. It is a basic physical mod that improves armor penetration and shapes the damage mix of your shotgun.

The official tables list it as a random enemy drop, and there is no vendor. Use it on shotguns whose base damage is mostly Impact or Slash, to add Puncture and give better results against armored targets.

Flechette was added with Vanilla (October 2012).
