Flame Repellent increases the Heat damage resistance of a Warframe's health and shields, by 60% at max rank. It is a niche mod meant to blunt fire-based attacks and the burning damage-over-time effect.
The official drop tables list it as a random drop, with no vendor. Use it against enemies that apply lots of Heat, like flamethrower units, and replace it with another survivability mod when you face other threats.
Flame Repellent was added with Update 8.0 (May 2013).
