Expel The Murmur is a faction damage mod for pistols that boosts damage against The Murmur, up to x1.3 at max rank. Although the value is shown as a multiplier, it adds up with other faction bonuses rather than multiplying them.
For example, Rhino's Roar plus a maxed Expel The Murmur gives a combined x1.8 against the Murmur. The mod drops from Murmur enemies such as the Severed Warden and Lumbering Fragment, so it suits pistols you use for Murmur-heavy content.
Expel The Murmur was added with Update 35.0 (December 2023).
