Drifting Contact is a rare melee mod that lengthens the Combo Counter's duration by 10 seconds at max rank and also adds status chance. It keeps your combo alive through slower or interrupted fights.
It drops with a high chance in Nightmare Mode missions, which you find through the World State Window. Use it on weapons that struggle to keep their combo going, or on any build that benefits from combo-based bonuses.
Drifting Contact was added with Update: Recurring Nightmares (October 2016).
