About Deep Freeze
Deep Freeze increases the Cold damage of a secondary weapon by 15% per rank, up to 90% at rank 5. It is a simple elemental mod that slows enemies and is used in many combined-element setups.
It drops in Defense missions on nodes such as Stephano, Stöfler and Hydron, and from enemies including the Exploiter Orb and Kuva Larvlings. Combine it with Toxin for Viral, for instance, when your pistol needs more punch against health.
Deep Freeze was added with Vanilla (October 2012).
