Critical Mutation is a weapon augment for the Catabolyst and Coda Catabolyst. Each eliminated target increases Critical Chance and Critical Multiplier, up to a maximum of 300%, but the bonus drops by 30% whenever a grenade hits fewer than three enemies.
It costs 20 Nightwave Creds in the rotating Cred Offerings and was first a Rank 13 reward in Nora's Mix Volume 5. Aim your grenades at groups of three or more so the stack keeps its value.
Critical Mutation was added with Update 34.0 (October 2023).
Critical Mutation is tradable, see the current prices in the market box above.
