Critical Deceleration is a corrupted shotgun mod. It gives a big +200% critical chance at max rank, balanced by a reduced fire rate, which pushes shotguns toward fewer but heavier shots.
It drops from Orokin Derelict Vaults on Deimos missions, with a few nodes excluded, and has no vendor. Choose it on shotguns that already have a strong crit multiplier and that do not rely on rapid fire.
Critical Deceleration was added with Update 15.0 (October 2014).
