When the creature dies, it devolves into its larval form and charges at enemies for Puncture damage, then respawns after 30 seconds.
It is granted automatically along with a Crescent Vulpaphyla, so there is nothing to farm. It makes the pet more durable in practice, since even a defeat turns into a last attack and a quick return.
Crescent Devolution was added with Update 29.0 (August 2020).
