Cleanse Infested raises the faction damage of shotguns against the Infested. It is a situational mod meant to be slotted when you head into Infested missions and swapped afterwards.
It drops from Tier 3 Excavation and Survival, from Orokin Derelict resource caches in Sabotage on Deimos, and from other sources. A shotgun with a good spread makes the most of it against dense Infested swarms.
Cleanse Infested was added with Update 9.0 (July 2013).
