Chilling Grasp increases the Cold damage of shotguns by 15% per rank, up to 90% at rank 5. It is a basic elemental mod that also feeds combined elements such as Blast or Viral.
It drops from The Circuit in Duviri at all tiers and from enemy loot tables. Combined with Chilling Reload and Frigid Blast it can reach a large Cold bonus, which suits shotguns aimed at slowing and freezing armored targets.
Chilling Grasp was added with Vanilla (October 2012).
