HeatHeatHeatHeatBlaze increases the damage and Heat damage of shotguns by 15% per rank, for a maximum of 60% at rank 3. Combined with Point Blank and Vicious Spread it adds up to a total damage increase of +240%.
It drops from Nightmare mode missions, and only from Tier 1 (easy) missions on Earth, Venus, Mercury and Mars. Check the in-game World State Window for the active Nightmare nodes.
Blaze was added with Update 9.0 (July 2013).
