Paracesis is Ballas's signature weapon, also known as The Sentient Slayer. After polarization its maximum rank can go up to 40, so it grows stronger the more you invest into it.
The weapon blueprint is given to you when you complete the Chimera Prologue quest. Finish the quest, then consider the extra ranks if you plan to keep it as a main heavy blade.
Paracesis was added with Update 23.10 (October 2018).

Paracesis costs 30,000 credits in total and takes 12 hr in the Foundry with the parts built in parallel. Resources: 1,000 Orokin Ducats, 15 Orokin Cell, 5 Eidolon Shard.
