Dating back to the time of the first Tenno, the Glaive is a uniquely deadly weapon. This multi-bladed disc is not only effective for melee combat; it can also be thrown like a boomerang to cut down enemies at a distance.

About Glaive
Glaive is a three-edged throwing blade that you can swing in melee or throw. A thrown Glaive bounces three times or travels for a set duration before it returns to you.
The blueprint is sold in the Nightwave Offerings for 50 Nightwave Creds. It was also once included in the PlayStation Plus starter pack together with the Glaive Obsidian Skin. A good way to learn the glaive playstyle before moving on to Glaive Prime.
Glaive was added with Update 7.9 (April 2013).
