Melee Retaliation grants bonus Melee Damage for every point of current Shields, up to a limit, and the bonus is halved for Overshields. It is additive to damage mods like Pressure Point and shows up in the buff UI.
Bird 3 of Cavia sells it for 5,000 Standing at rank 3 (Colleague), and Praghasa trades 5 Moonflesh for it during Epoch Operation: Taubound. The Fragmented, Whispers and Gruzzlings drop it as well. It only pays off for Warframes with large shield pools.
Melee Retaliation was added with Update 35.0 (December 2023).
